We are seeking to appoint a Head of Science to lead the faculty from September 2022. The person we are looking for will be a strong teacher who has successfully explored and engaged in aspects of leadership and has the ability, tenacity and commitment to take Science forward with pace and at scale with demonstrable impact on standards.

The successful candidate will:

be a growing inspirational leader who encourages strategic thinking, innovation, and action

be consistently optimistic, realistic, positive and solution focused 

have excellent interpersonal skills and able to network and communicate effectively

have the ability to lead a team and embed exceptional teaching and learning across the faculty

raise standards and be accountable for securing outstanding outcomes for all students.

have a strong understanding of the educational landscape and how this impacts on practice
