About us

At Together Trust we believe everybody deserves an equal chance in life. There are no exceptions. We provide a wide range of support services including fostering, residential, community and family support. We also provide specialist educational support through our schools and colleges.

Inscape House School is a specialist school for children with autistic spectrum disorders and related conditions, based on our Campus in Cheadle. Supporting students aged 5 – 19, we recognise their potential, maximise independence and celebrate achievements. Our class sizes are small and we have an extensive therapeutic team and clinical services, who are able to offer all of our students individualised learning programmes. Each student has access to psychologists, positive behaviour practitioners, speech and language therapists and occupational therapists, should they need them.

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious headteacher to continue in leading Inscape’s journey towards achieving excellence.

As Head of Inscape you will…

Be dedicated in leading this diverse school, bringing passion and positivity in everything you do, coupled with an understanding of the challenges surrounding working alongside children with autistic spectrum conditions. You will inspire your team to deliver the best for our students, and working together to achieve an ‘outstanding’ Ofsted rating. With your leadership, staff will be enabled to be excellent classroom practitioners. Meanwhile, you’ll excel at leading a unique school and upholding the highest standards. You will be excited about the future including building the commercial success of the school: aim for increased occupancy, placement stability, cost efficiency and the development of growth plans.

About you

An inspirational headteacher, committed to providing vision, direction and leadership to secure Inscape House School as a leading school in its sector with a reputation for outstanding high quality teaching and therapy, successful learning through innovative practice and as a centre of expertise for education and care of children with autism. You will be a confident leader, particularly through periods of change, ensuring your team stays committed to achieving greater outcomes for our students.
