Tes are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Head of Spanish on a full-time permanent basis from January 2022.

The school are looking to appoint a well-qualified, innovative and enthusiastic Head of Spanish. The successful candidate will provide effective leadership and operational management of Spanish and will have experience and the ability to teach Spanish across all years from Year 7 to A level/IB level and Oxbridge preparation.
As one of the five Heads of Languages at College the successful applicant will be responsible for all aspects of language learning, teaching, promoting and motivating staff and pupils in their subject area. They will also support the Head of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) in the effective leadership and management of the MFL department to ensure continued development, high quality teaching and learning and effective use of resources to bring about the highest standards of achievement for all pupils.
The Modern Foreign Languages Department is one of the largest departments at College with a team of 20 specialist teachers and 12 language coaches. The five core languages we teach are: Mandarin Chinese, French, Italian, German and Spanish. The school also offer Arabic, Japanese and Russian in the Sixth Form.
