The Isle of Man Music Service is looking for a well qualified, inspirational and dedicated upper strings teacher to lead our Strings Department and to contribute to the on-going development of our forward thinking – yet traditional - inclusive and friendly music service.

About the role:

The Isle of Man Music Service is looking for a well-qualified (with Qualified Teacher Status) inspirational and dedicated upper strings teacher to lead our Strings Department and to contribute to the on-going development of our forward thinking - yet traditional - inclusive and friendly music service.
Required for September 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter, this is a full time, permanent post within a small music service which is committed to inspiring our young musicians across the Island, nurturing a life long love of music making. Music is an important part of the Island's rich cultural heritage and the Isle of Man Music Service is highly regarded throughout the community.  There is an opportunity to be involved in our Saturday morning programme which includes Junior String Orchestra, a Senior String Orchestra, Training Orchestra and Senior Manx Youth Orchestra. We have a comprehensive continuing professional development programme and teachers are encouraged to take advantage of further training to enhance their professional practice and develop their careers.
