Charterhouse is a stunning school and a wonderful place in which to live and work. Founded in 1611 and located in its present magnificent 250 acre site near Godalming since 1872, the School has 820 pupils aged between 13 and 18, all of whom are boarders, except for about 40 'day boarders'. It recently announced its intention to extend its co-educational provision, currently only offered to its sixth form, to all year groups from Year 9 commencing in 2021.
