Bedford Academy has reviewed its pastoral structure and systems for this September and this exciting vacancy has arisen as a result. We are looking for a strong leader to join our new but inspirational pastoral team, leading current year 8 as they grow through the school. The ability to teach a core subject is an advantage.
Since opening, we have moved into our new state of the art building and in 2013 became a secondary school adding years 7 and 8. Last year Bedford Academy, an Ofsted good school with outstanding leadership (October 2015), has formed HEART Academies Trust with 3 other local schools.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a well-qualified, driven professional, who is an outstanding classroom practitioner, to join our Family of Schools. You will be an inspiring teacher with the energy and creativity to lead and support the team of tutors. You must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and share our belief in the highest standards of academic achievement in an inclusive setting.
