This is a rare opportunity for a proactive and dedicated professional to join our thriving prep school to assist the Headteacher and manage the school administration and admissions procedures.
The successful applicant will be responsible for all internal and external communication, administration and oversight of the admissions process for the whole school. This is an exciting and fast-paced role that is integral to the day-to-day operation of the school and therefore candidates will need to demonstrate:
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- competency in a range of administrative functions, with excellent attention to detail;
- flexibility in a pressurised environment whilst managing priorities effectively;
- excellent customer service
The working hours are 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, 08.30am -16.30pm term time plus some part-time cover in School holidays. Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable, as are outstanding administration, organisational and IT skills.

Highfield School for Girls is an independent, non-denominational school in Maidenhead, Berkshire. The school was founded on its current site in 1918, and became part of the Chatsworth Schools group in 2019. There are approximately 120 children on the school roll at Highfield. Girls are taught between the ages of 2-11, with recent co-ed provision for boys aged 2-7, following many years of co-education in EYFS.
