Teaching ServiceDoonside Technology High School is a comprehensive high school with a focus on the use of innovative and cutting edge learning to best engage our students. We have a diverse student population with an enrolment of 710 students in 2021, with 18% Aboriginal students. Our Support Unit caters for the needs of 74 students including students in Stage 6. We focus on fostering a culture of high expectations and a shared commitment from all members of our school community to wellbeing, engagement, learning and success in and beyond school. We provide quality education that enables our students to develop attributes and skills to achieve their full potential and to succeed in their chosen post–school endeavours. Staff are highly professional and dedicated to working diligently to improve the learning opportunities and life options for students. We provide a caring, secure and cooperative environment with a vast range of extra curricula programs to support student responsibility. The school attracts significant equity funding to support students with learning disabilities, socio-economic disadvantage and language acquisition. - A visible leader with high level interpersonal skills, providing excellent organisation and communication to build and maintain productive relationships within a diverse and dynamic school community.
- Demonstrated experience in understanding, implementing, and overseeing the use of online administration systems such as Sentral, Edval and SAP, to manage school staffing, reporting, and organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to gather and analyse data to inform innovative whole school programs to meet school targets and support improved student learning, engagement, and wellbeing.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as an effective member of the school executive team to lead, manage and implement programs and initiatives that improve student engagement and outcomes and lead initiatives that address whole school strategic directions.
