Teaching ServiceMulwaree High School is a large comprehensive rural high school in Goulburn, comprising of 850 students, including 5 support classes. The student population comprises 9% Aboriginal students and 5% EASL/D. The school has a staff with a diverse range of experience and offers a wide academic curriculum as well as catering extensively to the interests of all students in sport, academia and the arts. A strong emphasis is placed on literacy and numeracy across the whole school and positive growth in NAPLAN has been seen over the past few years.
Mulwaree High School has strong community links and promotes a number of leadership opportunities for students and staff. The student body is capably represented by six student leadership teams.
The school has a strong focus on building student pride in learning and creating a culture of continual improvement and high expectations. Mulwaree High School is committed to the values of kindness, resilience, respect, responsibility and opportunity and aims to develop young people who make a positive difference as good citizens.
