Head Teacher

  The Board of Liverpool City Region Academy Trust (LCRAT) wish to appoint a dedicated and inspirational Head Teacher with the ambition and vision to lead Emslie Morgan Academy (EMA) through its next phase of development continuing our move towards providing an outstanding provision for our students.

 As a member of the Academy Trust, EMA is now in its second year as an academy. The Trust, which is backed by Hugh Baird College, a Further Education College established over 50 years ago to provide high quality education to the local community, is providing key support to the Academy on the journey towards achieving significant improvement in its provision. 

As an Alternative Provision setting, EMA offers a varied education to young people who have been excluded from mainstream schools in the locality. This role of Head teacher will offer a suitably qualified and experienced candidate the opportunity to provide an education that will improve the life chances for our students. Our new Head Teacher must be able to evidence excellent leadership skills which can be used to build on the improvements already made.
