The Trustees of Castle Phoenix Trust wish to appoint an inspirational leader to the position of Headteacher at Hill Farm Primary School.  

There has never been a better time to join Hill Farm.  It is a popular school with three forms of entry serving a culturally rich and diverse community, judged as good in all five Ofsted categories in April 2015. The Headteacher will build on this to lead the school forward to provide excellent opportunities, support and challenge for all pupils so that they reach their potential in a caring and exciting learning environment. 

Castle Phoenix Trust currently comprises three secondary schools and two primary schools.  We pride ourselves on being the kind of place people want to work.  We invest in ensuring the quality of our relationships, fostering and building strong teams to share good and innovative practice, to promote learners’ achievements and to be the best that we can be.

We invite applications from existing Headteachers or experienced Deputy Headteachers who have vision and commitment.  The Board of Trustees will appoint someone who:

• Has exceptional interpersonal skills, with an approachable manner, sense of humour and the ability to capture the hearts of our children whilst realising the potential of all staff, 

• Is a visible leader with a proven track record of school improvement with the drive to ensure all pupils exceed expectations

• Models best practice, with the knowledge, skills and expertise to develop and build on effective systems 

• Will work collaboratively with Castle Phoenix Trust to identify strengths and ‘even better ifs’ and to develop consistently outstanding practice

• Is reflective, with good communication and listening skills, able to recognise strengths whilst sensitively managing change.
