A mixed 5-16 alternative provision school

We seek to appoint a highly motivated and innovative Headteacher to lead our PRU which is judged to be good.  Our retiring Headteacher has established an experienced, dedicated team of professionals and the school is well respected by colleagues in the North Cumbria and Eden areas.

At this exciting time of change, with increasing freedoms for alternative providers, we are looking to appoint an individual who will:

• Model excellence in teaching and learning as well as in leadership and management.
• Lead, support and inspire all staff and students to continually strive to improve their practice.
• Take forward the existing strong partnerships with schools across North Cumbria and Eden and work closely with alternative providers, particularly key partners within the County.
