Salary offering from L18 -25 on the leadership pay scale

We are a small special school with 50 students over two beautiful sites based in the East Sussex countryside with an emphasis on outdoor learning.  We work with mainly students on the Autistic Spectrum and complex needs. The majority of students  are KS2 and KS3, but we also have a small cohort of KS4 and Post 16.We work in small classes of four to six students and 1:1. We offer a bespoke education with a mix of academic and vocational courses. Our school Mission statement is 'Positive Learning for Life'. There is a strong emphasis on building self esteem and confidence, developing independent learners and thinkers and social skills along side academic achievement.

We are rightly proud of our school and need a Head teacher who has the experience to oversee the continued development of our curriculum, raise levels of academic standards and continue to work with all stakeholders to improve outcomes for all pupils. A Headteacher who is passionate about SEN and is creative and innovative in mindset. We specialise in ASC with complex needs and the challenges that go with this condition.

We believe someone with Leadership experience and in-depth knowledge of SEN or similar experience and a primary background would be ideal for this fantastic opportunity. A leader wanting to provide bespoke education for individual learners. Who will motivate and lead our fantastic staff team to offer outstanding education.
