We have a Headteacher role available to lead our ambitious and successful 3 form entry school in St Albans. Fleetville Junior School is rated outstanding by ofsted and works hard to maintain its high standards and excellent practice. The new Headteacher will inherit a well organised school with hard working staff, lively children and engaged parents.

The Headteacher will be responsible for all aspects of leading and improving the school. Working with the support of Spiral Partnership Trust, the Local Governing Body (LGB), school senior leadership team and staff to ensure the school offers an excellent quality and range of provision to all pupils. The Headteacher will work closely with heads from other schools in the trust to share good practice, support and challenge each other for the befit of all pupils in the Trust.

We are a 3 form entry Junior School on the eastern side of St. Albans. We value the difference that extended services can make to children's life chances. We are a 'lead school' for a Local Partnership and a joint lead agency with our Infant School for two Children's Centres. Our OFSTED inspection in June 2011 judged the school to be outstanding. On 1st June 2012 we converted to academy status in conjunction with our linked Infant and Nursery School. We both operate within the 'Fleetville Trust'.
