Churchill CEP School are looking for a strong, confident, assertive and experienced leader to drive the school forward into its next phase of development.

We are seeking an inspirational Headteacher capable of delivering educational excellence. The successful individual will lead by example, with a focus on supporting and developing the team on a trajectory of continuous improvement. Guided by our core values in ensuring our pupils receive an education that maximises their individual potential.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to raise standards and shape the future of the school, the children, parents, governors and its reputation amongst the local community. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of change management and the ambition to successfully raise the profile of our school.

The school was rated ‘Requires Improvement’ by Ofsted in November 2017, since then there have been significant positive changes to our Governing Body and overall teaching practices. The successful candidate will be a true innovator of change and will be supported by a strong, committed Leadership Team and effective Governing Body.
