The governors of Scholes Village Primary School are seeking to recruit an ambitious, proactive and caring Headteacher.  We are a close village school community, nurturing, inspiring and celebrating all individuals. As our Headteacher you will lead us on our journey to excellence, providing outstanding, dynamic and inspirational collaborative leadership to keep teaching and learning at the heart of our school. You will be highly motivated, with high expectations for all pupils and staff, with a proven track record in raising standards. You will deliver whole school improvement and effective staff development - whilst continuing to support stronger relationships with parents and carers and engage them in the academic and social education of their children.

We are looking for someone who:-

• has a clear vision for the future, maintaining and building upon our good Ofsted grading
• will promote a happy and supportive learning environment
• will be an enthusiastic advocate of the benefits of nurture
• has an excellent understanding of the use and analysis of data to track progress and ensure achievement for every child
• has excellent communication skills

Shortlisting date: 25.06.20

Candidates selected for interview will be contacted immediately after shortlisting by phone and email, but we will not contact unsuccessful candidates. References will be taken up after shortlisting and prior to interview stage.

Interview dates: 02.07.20 and 03.07.120

Please note that candidates will be required on both days:  there will be a number of activities as part of the selection process.  These activities may be conducted on an online forum.
