Rodney House is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Headteacher to lead their outstanding school on the next phase of their development. Rodney House School provides places for children with an EHC plan stating 'Specialist support' and delivers a city wide Outreach Service which supports Early Years children and their families. The school also offers training and support to daycare providers. 

Rodney House is a welcoming community which helps all children to reach their full potential. We are a unique school and offer support to approximately 300 children at any one time. 60 through school places and the rest through the outreach service. We aim to provide a safe, caring environment where all achievement is valued and celebrated.

The Headteacher will provide professional leadership for the school, and share a vision which will drive the school and the wider organisation forward, building on the success of the school’s third consecutive outstanding Ofsted inspection.  The Headteacher will be responsible for continuing to develop the existing dynamic, learning environments for the children within the school and for the monitoring and evaluation of the additional outreach services, and will be accountable to the Governing Body.
