Due to the retirement of the current head teacher, the governors, pupils and staff of Bickleigh Down Voluntary Aided Church School, are looking to appoint an inspiring leader to take this distinctively Christian School forward.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and innovative leader to join the staff at our large (418 on roll) yet friendly, inclusive and welcoming school.

We are a 'good' school with outstanding features and seek to achieve outstanding status in both Ofsted and SIAMS at next visit.   • Be able to communicate effectively and have the interpersonal skills to work with all those who want the very best for the children in our care

  • Have a clear vision and ability to build on our academic success and enable our children to flourish
