Having opened our doors in September 2016, the academy has expanded annually and will reach full capacity by 2022.

We are looking for an exceptional, committed Headteacher with a proven record in educational leadership to share our ambition and strategic vision to build upon the Ofsted ’good’ rating (July 2019).  You will guide our academy in its next stage of development and continue the journey of shaping NIA into a centre of excellence. Your effective leadership will bring people together and ultimately make NIA a high performing member of our Trust. Your energy and enthusiasm will inspire, challenge and empower all members of the school in achieving the vision, and fostering an environment in which learning thrives.

This is a rare chance to lead one of the biggest schools and we are looking for a leader who will maximise the opportunities in order to create a unique educational experience.

It is an exciting challenge, for which we require an exceptional professional. Already a senior leader, you will be able to demonstrate an impressive record of success and a high level of tenacity and initiative.

  • Have a clear vision and determination to build and achieve excellence
  • Inspire and motivate children and staff, ensuring all are valued and supported to be the best they can be
  • Be passionate about making a difference for every child
  • Maintain and develop the excellent relationships between the staff, governors, parents and the wider community
  • Work closely with the Trust and its academies

In return, we are able to offer

  • A ‘good’ school which has a wide range of high-quality provision within and beyond the curriculum
  • Well behaved students who are highly motivated
  • You will be supported by a dedicated and committed team of staff, including a strong leadership team
  • A school that is respected in the community
  • Support from cross Trust systems and school improvement leaders
  • Stable, effective, established systems for a wide range of processes
