This is an exciting opportunity which arises due to the retirement of the Headteacher in August 2018 after nine years.
The appointed Headteacher will lead an ‘Outstanding’ 4 form entry school situated in large grounds, with excellent facilities in a modern, attractive, purpose-built building with dedicated staff and enthusiastic pupils.
During three of the last five years the school has been nationally rated as one of the best performing primary schools based on pupil progress and is also a National Support School.
The Governors seek to appoint a dynamic leader who will continue to enable Gifford to be a leading school in the areas of pupil progress, curriculum development and be an exciting place to work and learn.
An enhanced salary recognises responsibilities of the role and the prestige of the school.
