Closing date: 8am, Monday 30 March 2020

Shortlisting will take place on Monday 30 March 2020. Shortlisted candidates will be informed of the range of activities that will form the selection process in advance of their interview. 

Interviews: There will be an assessment day on Thursday 2 April 2020 followed by interviews in the morning on Friday 3 April 2020.  

In light of the current circumstances, and in-line with Government guidelines, we intend to continue with the recruitment process for the role of Head of Cheney School but with some alterations:

  • The deadline for applications will remain 8am on Monday, 30 March;
  • Shortlisting will take place on 30 March, with those short-listed receiving an email with a set of paper based tasks they will be asked to complete and email back by 4pm on Wednesday, 1 April;
  • An online Student Panel Interview with sixth formers at the school will take place on Thursday, 2 April;
  • An online interview with the recruitment panel will take place on Friday, 3 April.  

The Community Schools Alliance Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check before taking up the post, along with pre-employment safeguarding checks.
