We are looking for a Headteacher who:

  • Can demonstrate substantive successful senior leadership in a primary school.
  • Has substantial primary teaching experience and is an able and versatile classroom practitioner.
  • Has experience across the primary range, including EYFS and has a curriculum strength or strong interest, enabling them to support in teaching and extra-curricular activities where appropriate.
  • Demands ambitious standards for all pupils regardless of disadvantage, background or starting point.
  • Has the experience, drive and passion to make a real and notable difference to both pupils and the wider community in raising standards of achievement.
  • Can continue the rapid improvement of teaching across the school, especially in literacy and mathematics.
  • Can develop leadership and management at all levels; to create a culture of professionalism.
  • Is not afraid to try new ideas to challenge our children.
  • who promotes resilience and independence, encouraging children to thrive on the positives of their educational journey.
  • Is able and willing to work hand in hand with the children, parents, staff and governors to deliver the very best for our pupils.
