The Directors of this successful, popular Catholic School wish to appoint for September 2019:

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated practising Catholic leader to build on past successes and lead the future development of this thriving school. We are looking for an energetic, vibrant, inspirational Practising Catholic to shape our school’s future. You will have a clear vision and strategy for Catholic Education and understand the distinctive nature of a Catholic School. The NPQH and the Catholic Certificate of Religious Education are desirable but not essential.

Successful senior leadership experience, including school improvement and raising standards in a Primary setting, is essential. It would be desirable to have some experience of financial management.

Needless to say, we’re looking for someone who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to: lead learning and teaching; lead and develop our great staff; be accountable for the outcomes of the children; and help to strengthen the Catholic Community in the context of Slough.

It will be essential to have an awareness of educational policy, performance management processes, effective teaching and learning strategies and a strong grasp of curriculum issues.

You will be ready – and excited – to meet the challenges of managing change and determined to make St Anthony’s the best Primary School in the country.
