Biddick Academy is looking for a dynamic, nurturing, forward thinking, innovative Headteacher who can lead on the Academy vision and further develop the ethos and performance of the Academy.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious current headteacher or deputy headteacher wishing to further develop their career and to make a difference to the practice of colleagues and the education of our young people.

About Biddick Academy
Biddick Academy is a co-educational secondary school based in Washington, near Sunderland, for students aged 11-16.
In 1997, Biddick was one of the first 11 schools in England to become a specialist sports college. The academy’s facilities include a sports hall, a dance studio, a fitness suite, a gymnasium, a full-size 3G pitch, floodlit tennis courts, a theatre and ICT suites.
