Vale of Evesham School is a very special place to work. We are an all-age Special School that provides education for pupils aged 4–19 with a wide range of learning and communication needs, including moderate, severe, complex and Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Pupils are happy and confident learners, staff are well equipped and well trained to meet their needs through a differentiated and supportive curriculum pathway.

Vale of Evesham also has a 15 place residential provision. Both the school and the residential provision were judged to be Good at our last inspection, in September 2023.

We have high aspirations for all of our pupils, with a highly trained staff team who are dedicated and committed to ensuring every young person can thrive by adopting a quality first teaching model. Our creative curriculum has been devised to meet the specific needs of our pupils, providing breadth, balance, relevance, differentiation, progression and continuity that enables each pupil to experience a sense of enjoyment and achievement throughout their school career. The Senior Leadership Team are very skilled and knowledgeable and have been instrumental in leading the school on its journey to Good.

We work in close partnership with our parents, carers, partner schools and the wider community to provide a rich, creative and inclusive learning community. We are fortunate to have a well- trained and multi-professional team who work with other agencies to provide a wide range of integrated services to support pupils and their families. Relationships around the school are extremely positive, as reflected in our Outstanding grade for Behaviour and Attitudes as evidenced in our Ofsted inspection in 2023.
