Job overview
You will be responsibile for enabling students learn, promoting their independence and helping them achieve.
You will promote a caring environment and provide a high standard of care. Ensure that communication with students, staff and other departments is effective and contributes to securing efficiency and high standards of care and personal development for students.
You will also maintain high standards of safety and observe good practice in relation to health and safety issues, implement students' care plans and appropriately use the recording and reporting processes.
The role involves a substantial amount of moving, handling and personal care.
Experience of complex physical and medical needs is desirable along with Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent) A*-C grade. Experience of working in an education setting is desirable but not essential.
The position is to cover Maternity Leave (up to 12 months) and is full time 37 hours per week term time only.
