Tolworth Girls' School & Sixth Form is a World Class School with high expectations, encouraging our students to be aspirational with their learning and to enjoy all aspects of school life.  We are recruiting a High Level Teaching Assistant to join our committed and supportive Inclusion team. Our ideal candidate will have some experience of working alongside teenagers who struggle with aspects of their learning. 

This post will primarily be based on our on-site Specialist Resource Provision as well as supporting in the main school as needed. Our provision is specially designed for students with a primary diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition and SEMH needs. All students within the provision will have an Educational Health and Care Plan and will complete their learning in both the SRP and the mainstream. 

Our ideal candidates will have some experience of working alongside students with ASC and SEMH needs who struggle with aspects of their learning and social communication. Applicants with speech and language, ASC and SEMH experience are particularly desirable to suit our student’s needs at this time. 

Working hours are 8.20am to 4pm Monday to Friday, which includes unpaid rest breaks and totals 36 working hours per week.

The actual salary for this post working 36 hours per week, term time only, plus 23 days paid annual leave and 8 days bank holiday (45.2 weeks paid) is £17,900pa – £19,600pa
