Grade:   TSPT 6 point 17-21

Hours:        36 hours per week (Mon-Fri), 39 weeks per year

Salary: £19,729 - £21,639 (FTE £23,032 - £25,261)

Start date: 1st September 2022

 The Role (will include)

• Working as part of the Pit Stop Team.

• Supporting with PPA and cover. 

• Working with individual children, small groups and larger groups of children to deliver pastoral interventions.

• Assessing and tracking progress from starting points e.g. via the Boxall Profile & Leuven Scale.

• Responding to children who struggle to regulate.  

• Implement Zones of Regulation and Restorative Justice 

• Communicating with teachers and parents/carers

• Putting strategies in place to support social communication and positive behaviour

• Contributing information towards referral forms and/or reports

• Creating, distributing a modelling the use of resources

The Person (must):

• Have experience of working in schools supporting learning.

• Have a desire to professionally improve.

• Have good communication skills.

• Understand that behaviour is a form of communication

• Be familiar with strategies that support behaviour and social communication needs

• Be adaptable and quick thinking
