ABC Teachers have been asked to recruit a qualified Teacher of History for a full time role in a Hanley based school, north of Stoke-on-Trent starting September 2018. The position will be to start originally on a long term basis but could turn permanent for the right candidate.
The school has achieved outstanding results in the last 5 years and boasts the highest standards of behaviour and appearance. They are constantly trying to improve teaching, learning and assessment whilst harnessing the achievements they have already made. The school has a strong sense of community and are looking for a supportive and encouraging individual who can promote this. The students are making good progress in the subject and need a teacher to maintain and develop the standards.
The successful candidate will have strong subject knowledge and become an integrated member of the well-established Humanities department. The position requires a reliable individual who has evidence of excellent classroom management and good communication and organisation skills. The successful candidate must be able to create engaging history lessons that appeal to all students and must possess a positive teaching style.
