Part time (0.6 FTE) from April 2018
We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and experienced teacher of History at KS 3, 4 and A Level who will relish the opportunity to work with our enthusiastic and well-motivated pupils, broadening their knowledge and inspiring them to achieve outstanding results. This teacher will have an excellent track record, demonstrating evidence of innovative teaching methods. History is an increasingly popular subject with a good take up at GCSE.
Experience of the AQA specifications and familiarity with the new changes to the specification is desirable.
We are a diamond school, which means that at KS3 and KS4 boys and girls are educated separately, coming together in KS5. Our pastoral care is our strength and we encourage a positive and affirming approach with high expectations of behaviour.
