William Perkin School opened in September 2013 with its first intake of Year 7 students, and now has seven year groups (7 - 13) totalling around 1,400 students. In this fast-growing environment the SEN Department requires a part-time experienced HLTA & SEN Coordinator to support the team of SEN Leads, Teaching Assistants and Mentors (total 20 staff) with the administration of internal exams, and to assist in supporting day-to-day school functions.

The role is varied and busy, and the ability to work professionally under pressure to meet deadlines and operate flexibly within the changing needs of the school is essential. School experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided however the new post-holder will be able to demonstrate successful work experience in a fast-paced office environment and the ability to own their own work. Excellent communication skills are essential as is enthusiasm, commitment and a willingness to play an active role in the life of the school. The new post-holder will be an experienced MS Office user – including Excel.

Successful Candidates will have:   

  • Educated to A Level, and GCSE passes in English and Maths (essential).  
  • Experience/knowledge of administration in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Excellent ICT skills.  
  • Customer service experience.  
  • A professional attitude and excellent attendance.

William Perkin CE High School, Greenford

William Perkin Church of England High School was opened in 2013 and is part of the Twyford Church of England Academies Trust. Its GCSE results in its first two years of exams placed it in the top 10 schools in the country in terms of progress and it has grown a large and flourishing sixth form. The school is founded on the successful systems and approaches of Twyford CE High School, with the principle difference that it is a distinctively Christian school with open admission criteria. The school is rated ‘Outstanding’ in all areas by Ofsted (June 2015) and SIAMS (October 2016) and is oversubscribed on first choice applicants.
