Smart Teachers are recruiting various HLTA / Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join an independent school in the London borough of Brent. The school is looking to recruit several HLTA / Higher Level Teaching Assistant to lead different classes (Reception, Year 1, 4 or 6). The schools are looking to recruit HLTA / Higher Level Teaching Assistant on a permanent basis, starting in September 2020.  The successful candidates will be responsible for the planning, delivery and assessment of the curriculum.

The school is a one-form entry, independent Islamic school based in Brent. The school describes itself as being very diverse and open minded, with pupils and staff from a diverse range of backgrounds and beliefs. Successful candidates do not have to be practicing Muslims, but be respectful of the ethos. The school follows the National Curriculum and has lower than average class sizes (20 maximum). This is a wonderful opportunity for any aspiring teachers to take the first steps into teaching. 

Requirements

To be considered for the HLTA / Higher Level Teaching Assistant position, you will:

• Require a relevant UK teaching qualification or HLTA qualification 

• Having teaching experience within the UK or worked as HLTA in the UK
