Job overview
We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and committed Higher Learning Teaching Assistant who will plan and deliver teaching and learning activities within our Student Support Centre. Working alongside the Director of Inclusion and SENCO, the successful candidate will work to mentor our students with Special Education Needs, improving access to learning strategies. Candidates will have experience in working with children with Special Educational Needs, with an ability to plan differentiation according to their specific SEND requirements.

About Guiseley School
Guiseley School is an 11-18 fully inclusive school situated in a small town in the City of Leeds in West Yorkshire. Historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, it is now a suburb of north west Leeds and close to the stunning Dales. The school is part of a Co-operative Trust established in 2014. The school works jointly with a number of local schools to promote the welfare and success of the children of Aireborough. As part of the local community, Guiseley School has a firm reputation for high standards in both behaviour and academic endeavour.
