Wycliffe seeks a qualified and enthusiastic Hockey Coach to take a lead role in the delivery of Hockey in the Senior and Prep School during the Autumn Term (August – December 2021). The main responsibilities will be coaching at the senior school on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon with matches on Saturdays as well as leading lunchtime skills sessions. Within the Prep school the successful applicant will take a team for matches on a Wednesday and coach across the age groups to develop Hockey alongside the Director of Sport and other Coaches.
The successful applicant should be at least Level 1 qualified (Level 2 or above preferred) and recent coaching experience is essential.
Hours of work:
Monday 12:30pm to 5:30pm
Tuesday 12:30pm to 4:10pm
Wednesday 1pm to 5pm (Prep school fixture afternoon)
Thursday 1:45pm to 4:10pm
Friday 12:30pm to 4:30pm
Saturdays – afternoons when fixtures/training
Additional hours will be required for tournaments and fixtures outside these normal Games sessions.

Wycliffe is an HMC co-educational day and boarding school. Wycliffe is located in Stonehouse, approximately 25 miles north of Bristol and 15 miles south of Cheltenham and Gloucester. Access via the motorway network is convenient (we are 3 miles from the M5) and there is a train station in Stonehouse (on the main line from London to Cheltenham) which is just a two minute walk from the school gates. Wycliffe is the top school in the UK for squash, and excels at rowing and basketball and there is a thriving CCF.
