Work-week: Monday – Friday, 8.15am – 3.15pm, with 30 minutes un-paid lunch break
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Three Rivers Academy for a Home School Link Worker. You will support parents/carers and children before there is a need for a more intensive intervention form the statutory agencies. You should be educated to A Level, HNC or equivalent, or able to evidence ability at an equivalent level.

Three Rivers Academy is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school situated in Hersham, Surrey. There are approximately 924 students at the school between 11-18 years.
Formerly Rydens School, Rydens Enterprise School and Sixth Form College converted to academy status in 2012. The school opened in 1954.

Rydens Enterprise School and Sixth Form College wants all students to work to the best of their ability and achieve to the highest of their standards in a nurturing and supportive learning environment. It follows the motto, “believe, achieve, succeed”. The Hersham based secondary school wants students to enjoy learning outside of the classroom and offers a wide range of enrichment opportunities for them to get involved in, including drama productions, school trips and the Duke of Edinburgh Award. As a Business & Enterprise Specialist School, students are exposed to local and national businesses who provide them with vocational learning experiences and careers advice.

Pupils speak highly of the care and support given to them by the school and say that they are taught how to keep safe and understand how to stay safe when working online. They understand different forms of bullying and are confident that instances of bullying are dealt with quickly and effectively. Healthy living is supported effectively through sports and extra-curricular activities as well as in physical education and food technology lessons. The school has developed good links with other post-16 providers so that pupils receive a range of appropriate careers advice and support".
