Our Vision

Our principal aim is to ‘inspire intellectual curiosity and wonder’ through the provision of educational opportunities which enable young minds to play a part in creating a future which has opportunities for all and encourages aspiration and determination. We believe that in an environment which treasures courage, compassion and ambition and prompts a desire to think globally; ethical and sustainable futures are born. We are deeply committed to our community both locally and internationally.

AIBET is a Multi Academy Trust and has a proven record for educational improvement and research. In recent years it has established an excellent reputation for bringing about rapid and sustainable results including leading Harewood College to ‘Good’ for the first time in the school’s history. The Trust has also opened a Primary school, (Avonwood) and Sixth Form since its formation in 2012. Enterprise and creativity is a core ingredient of our work and can be clearly seen in our innovative approaches to curriculum, teaching and learning.

As an International Trust, we believe strongly in the development of strong partnerships overseas and the Trust has both led and participated in international research. We have a range of consultants and trainers and a wealth of experience which includes advisory work on the opening of schools overseas, school leadership training and courses on pedagogy. Research projects are plentiful and many of the staff have contributed to national and international forums for the development of new and exciting pedagogical approaches to learning.

Everything we do has the child clearly and firmly at its heart. We believe passionately that every child should have the right to a good and progressive education which equips them to meet the demands of tomorrow. We believe too that a group of like-minded institutions can change the future for many children. This is why we will always extend an invitational hand to any who wishes to learn with us and join our family.
