Job description

Housekeeping Assistants required to undertake cleaning duties around our large school site as part of our busy, friendly team. You should have a positive, can-do attitude and high standards. You will ensure that the school is kept clean and tidy for both staff and students. Training provided. 

£8.19 per hour. Term time only + all INSET days + 10 days holiday working (factor 46.6).

 20 hours per week, 3.30-7.30pm Mon – Fri. Other hours are also available. For more information and application form, please visit our website or contact below.

Ralph Allen School is a co-educational, non-denominational, over-subscribed academy for students aged 11 to 18 years, situated in the World Heritage city of Bath.  Our ethos is one of achievement through respect, teamwork and personal best.

In 2016 it became a founder member of the Palladian Academy Trust, composed of eight local schools.

Ralph Allen School was named after the Bath mine owner, entrepreneur and philanthropist who helped with the building of Georgian Bath and the early development of the Post Office.

The school was founded in 1957 and became an academy in August 2012. It is celebrating its 60th anniversary during 2017-18.  Following recent exciting campus developments, the school has formulated a comprehensive strategic vision for future campus expansion.

Ralph Allen School aims to be both exceptional and extraordinary, embracing difference and diversity and inspiring everyone to reach their full potential. The secondary school specialises in three core subjects: English, Math's and Science. It has been mentioned in The Times on its annual list of highest-achieving schools. It has great facilities for extra-curricular activities, including an art and photography building and an all-weather sports pitch.

Ofsted report

Ralph Allen achieved a 'Good' when it was last inspected in 2018, with one of those outstanding features being the Sixth Form. Ofsted assessments of the school have never been below 'Good'.
