A motivated and experienced HR professional is required to provide a full generalist HR service in our highly academic and successful independent day school for girls.
The post offers the opportunity to undertake a wide range of interesting strategic and operational work in a professional and supportive setting. Our 260 staff enjoy excellent conditions of service, including free lunches, free on-site Sports Centre membership, generous leave entitlement and pension. The successful candidate will be well educated with CIPD qualifications. Chartered Membership of CIPD is desirable. She/he will have significant experience of working in a busy, generalist HR office, ideally in a school setting, with experience of safeguarding issues including safer recruitment. She/he will also be well versed in employment law and will have significant experience of managing and advising on case-work. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, are essential, together with good IT skills, including Excel.
