You will ideally have:

• Experience of working in a school office or similar environment and be looking for your next role.

• Be able to work well under pressure and understand the busy nature of a school office.

• Demonstrate good time management, communication skills with attention to detail.

• Be efficient in the use of ICT and management information systems 

• Work well in our friendly established team and also on your own 

• Be a  person with a good sense of humour who is prepared to ‘go the extra mile’


Purpose of the role:

• To be an ambassador for the school when meeting parents and other visitors and to act as a first point of reference.

• To support the School Business Manager to provide HR, site and general administrative support.

• To contribute to the overall vision and ethos of the school and support the staff development.

• Play a key role in the safeguarding of our school with associated HR procedures.

Previous experience of our management information system (Bromcom), employment law and HR processes would be helpful in this role, but for the right candidate we can provide support and training to develop your knowledge and skills. The successful applicant will have a can do approach to support school improvement and be a highly effective communicator.
