About the role:
With over 2,300 staff Leigh Academies Trust is one of the biggest employers in the South East and the HR team plays a vital role in ensuring every one of them reaches their full potential. As an organisation, we want to develop and attract great talent, as well as being a diverse and inclusive workforce that allows our people to flourish. As a HR intern you’ll learn the skills and characteristics needed to be part of this team and play a vital role in onboarding our new employees for the next academic year. Our intern programme gives you the opportunity to gain some HR experience in a busy and friendly HR team and is therefore great for anyone currently studying an HR related course or someone looking to get onto the HR career ladder.
This is an 8-10 week internship in which you’ll thrive and have a chance to see how different parts of the HR. Your main responsibility will be processing and onboarding new starters but you may also be involved in other projects.
This opportunity is based at our Strood Head Office and is for 37 hours per week.
