Position Description

Key Competencies, Skills and/ or Experience

  • A personal Christian faith and commitment, demonstrating a commitment to Christian teaching practice.
  • Expertise in teaching HSIE subjects.
  • Ability to deliver effective pedagogy in an innovative and engaging manner.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
  • Professional and personal integrity.
  • Flexible and open to change.
  • Proactive and innovative.
  • Technologically literate and experienced in the integration of technology into every aspect of students’ learning.
  • Willingness to actively engage in co-curricular activities.
  • Commitment to personal and professional development.


Essential Qualifications

Essential:

  • Qualification in secondary education.
  • Tertiary qualification in related subjects.
  • Accredited with NESA.
  • Working with Children check required.
  • Willingness to teach Stage 4 and 5 Geography
  • Ability to teach HSIE subjects (Economics, Business Studies) to HSC level

Desirable:

  • Experience teaching Legal Studies

Danebank Anglican School for Girls is a single-sex, independent, all-through Christian school in New South Wales, serving students from the age of 4-18. The all-through school is situated in Hurstville.

Danebank Anglican School for Girls was founded in 1933 by a group of local parents. Curriculum
