We are seeking to appoint an outstanding HR administrator to join People Services.

The ideal candidate will have strong administration back ground, be a confident communicator, highly organised and well presented. The individual will undertake a range of management, clerical and administrative tasks, providing comprehensive support to the faculty.

What to expect? 


1. Dealing with incoming/outgoing post, answering telephone queries, dealing with recruitment & selection enquiries, maintaining computer databases, photocopying, filing accurate data input into the HR database.

2. Undertake the administration relating to recruitment, including dealing with requests regarding the on-line application process, downloading on-line application forms, collating application forms for short listing, production of short listing grids, invitation to interview letters, chasing new starter documents including references, produce offer letters, contract & contract letters.

3. Liaising with College managers regarding the distribution, collation and progression of posts.

4. Assisting with the administration of pre-employment checking, recording and monitoring in accordance with the College’s recruitment and selection procedures and statutory obligations.

5. Setting up new starters ensuring auditable documents are in place.

6. Maintaining accurate and timely administration of the probation process.

7. Maintenance and updating of HR database, trackers and the creation and maintenance of HR records ensuring that the security and confidentiality of the data is maintained, including the Single Central Register.

8. Undertake regular validation of data and data cleansing in conjunction with HR Advisor(s).

9. Support the HR Advisor(s) with project work relevant to their lead area.

10. Assisting with the preparation and production of management information to meet schedules and deadlines as required.

11. Prioritising workload efficiently by applying effective timekeeping.

12. Using a professional and customer focused approach to handle all enquiries

13. Carry out any reasonable instructions, which involve additional duties commensurate with the level and grading of this post
