Higher Level Teaching Assistants required for

The Hungerford School – part of The Bridge London Trust

Salary Range: £27,402 - £29,010 per annum FTE 

Actual Starting Salary: £23,648.32 per annum pro rata

We are looking for Senior Teaching Assistants for Hungerford Primary School. 

What qualities do you need?  The right person for this post will be enthusiastic, reliable and flexible and willing to take on the additional responsibility of leading groups in the teacher’s absence.

They will maintain an air of calm even in difficult situations and work within the Bridge School’s positive behaviour ethos ensuring they lead by example at all times. They will act as mentors and role models to other members of staff.

Essential Qualifications:

• Relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification 

• Level 2 literacy and numeracy 

Other relevant qualifications are desirable, however continuous professional development is a feature of our school and training will be provided.  

Hungerford School is joining The Bridge London Trust.  In addition to Hungerford the Trust oversees the work of three Special Schools and a Teaching School.  The Bridge School has been recognised as outstanding in its last three inspections.  The Bridge ILS recently also received an outstanding report.  We know what outstanding looks like and what it takes to get there.  Hungerford School is on an improvement journey.  This journey will be fully supported by the Trust and by the experienced, committed and energetic Head of School already appointed.  We are now looking to recruit Classrooms Teachers who are energised and excited about joining us on this journey.
