IB Biology and Environmental Systems Teacher, Switzerland

Closing date:Expiring today

Institut Le RoseySwitzerland

Date posted:
Start date: September 2019
Contract type: Full Time
Salary: Competitive
Contract term: Permanent

Institut Le Rosey is a dual-language (English and French) co-educational IB World School for 440 pupils with a unique two-campus system.

For September 2019 we have a full-time post available in our Science Department for a secondary teacher of Biology (ideally up to and including IB at Higher and/or Standard level) and IB Environmental Systems and Societies (ESS). Although IB teaching (in English) will make up the majority of the timetable, the ability to offer another science subject in the middle school, or pre-IB years is important, and the ability teach in French would be a distinct advantage.

Candidates should note that Le Rosey is a boarding school and that the post will probably be residential. On-campus accommodation is provided and conditions of work are attractive.  The successful applicant will be expected to play an active role in boarding life.

Further details at http://www.rosey.ch/information/employment/

Applications, which should be addressed to the Headmaster, at job@rosey.ch, must be by email and comprise: a letter of application, a CV, (including personal details such as age and family circumstances which may be important for residential considerations), a recent photo, and the names of three referees.

Closing date for receipt of applications: 22 February 2019.

Further details will be sent to all suitable candidates and interviews will take place in March and (if necessary) April.
