About the role 

We are seeking to appoint an energetic, creative and forward-thinking ICT Technician to proactively support our academy ICT Infrastructures as a member of our central ICT team. 

Your role will be to support our academies, staff and students, providing first line technical support promptly and efficiently, in person and remotely.  You will be required to diagnose, detect and resolve problems with a wide range of equipment including laptops, PCs, tablets, printers, peripheral, network and software.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience of supporting a Microsoft environment including but not limited to Active Directory, Office 365 and Teams

• A valid driving license and ability to travel to our different sites based in Coventry and Warwickshire

• Up to date knowledge of developments with ICT equipment, hardware and software applications

• Ensure attention to detail and take pride in the work you do

• Be able to work under pressure and to deadlines, and produce work to the required standards and to agreed timescales

• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences

• 5 GCSEs including English and Mathematics 

• A strong commitment to our trust values and ethos


All staff are expected to know what to do if they have concerns about a child, take on the responsibility for providing a safe environment and promoting children’s welfare, undertake regular safeguarding and child protection training and, familiarise themselves with KCSIE part 1 and local policies and procedures as directed by the trust/academy.

About us

Inspire Education Trust is a Multi Academy Trust currently consisting of five primary schools and one secondary school located in Coventry and Warwickshire.

Initially set up as a Federation between Walsgrave CE Primary and Clifford Bridge Primary in 2012, Inspire Education Trust was established in 2015 and has since grown to comprise five primary schools and one secondary school in Coventry and Warwickshire.
