We are looking for an effective and energetic Inclusion Manager who can join our team in September 2024, to lead, develop and support the current effective SEND provision. There is no anticipated teaching commitment associated with the role. The role will be part-time and for the equivalent of approximately 0.8.

We like to think of ourselves as a team who are ‘champions’ for our SEN children and their families in a world where barriers often present themselves. We commit ourselves to building relationships with parents so that we can provide a wealth of support and care, both in school and at home. Does this resonate with you? Do you feel you can bring further expertise and skills to our growing team whilst maintaining an enthusiastic and inspirational approach to the role? Do you want to continue developing professionally in a nurturing and forward thinking workplace? If so, we are keen to hear from you and encourage you to find out more about this rewarding position in our school.

We want the best person for this role and as such wish to offer some flexibility as to the working hours for this job and how these may be spread out over the week to accommodate personal circumstances.

The ideal candidate will:

  • be an enthusiastic individual who can lead the SEN provision across the academy;
  • have high expectations of children's attainment, progress, behaviour and emotional wellbeing;
  • have the National Award for SEN Co-ordination or be willing to complete it;
  • have high expectations of their own achievement and development, both professionally and personally;
  • have excellent organisational skills and up to date knowledge of relevant legislation;
  • have a sound knowledge of implementing strategies to support pupils;
  • be able to model good practice, deliver training and recommend specific programmes of intervention for pupils;
  • be a team player who is creative, energetic and who will provide enriching and inspiring learning opportunities for all our children;
  • make a positive contribution to all aspects of school life.

In return we offer:

  • hard-working, enthusiastic, friendly and well-behaved children;
  • a fabulous Special Needs Assistant who is truly devoted to the role and all it encompasses;
  • a supportive, hard-working and friendly environment;
  • a dedicated and enthusiastic staff to deliver interventions;
  • significant investment in your learning and development to help you succeed
