Merton College are now seeking an Inclusive Learning Officer to ensure the effective coordination and monitoring of in-class support for learners with learning difficulties, disabilities and ESOL, English and Maths support needs.

Safeguarding learners and promoting their well-being in all aspects of their learning, you will implement agreed individual learning programmes of support for learners to enable them to achieve qualification aims, develop independence, enhance progression opportunities and progress towards Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) outcomes.

As our Inclusive Learning Officer, we would like you to be educated to GCSE / Level 2 (or equivalent) with a minimum grade C/4 in English and Maths and have a proven track record in supporting learners with learning difficulties and other support needs. With high level interpersonal skills and experience of working with multi-disciplinary teams, you will be able to use initiative, organise and prioritise and be competent in the use of Microsoft Excel.
