Industry Programme Teacher 

(CHI – Classroom In the Heart of the Industry based at Marsham Court Hotel/Riverside TESCO) 

0.5 MPR/UPR + 1 SEN Point

An exciting opportunity exists to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified teacher to work as part of a team delivering a unique programme for young people with moderate learning difficulties that combines education and on-the-job training. 

The successful applicant’s responsibility will be to play a crucial role in both the delivery and operational development of an industry based project.

The post holder will be teaching students who are on roll at Linwood but based in the workplace, currently at a local hotel and a large supermarket. With the support of a team of teachers and teaching assistants, the successful applicant will be involved in developing work shadowing opportunities and work experience within a range of industries. In addition to this the teacher will deliver functional skills and other external accreditation programmes.
