The main responsibility of this role will be to provide practical skills training, related underpinning knowledge and assessments in all aspects of General Engineering including Welding and Fabrication, in a variety of work environments.
You should be able to demonstrate extensive relevant experience of working in a general Engineering environment including preparing workshop areas and ensuring that resources are in the right place and at the right time. Being able to monitor progress, set targets, assess and maintain accurate learner assessment records are also key responsibilities of the role .
You will need to be vocationally qualified to at least NVQ 3 or City and Guilds Part 2 in General Engineering or possess equivalent qualifications in order to be considered for this role. Experience of a similar role within Further Education would be advantageous.
