Job overview
At this key time in the Academy’s development we require an ambitious, determined and committed Intervention Teacher to join us as soon as possible on a temporary contract. The post holder will work with the Academy’s Pupil Premium children on daily intervention.
The successful candidate will:
- be an excellent practitioner
- be enthusiastic, resourceful and keen to ensure that the highest possible standards of pupil achievement, personal development and well-being are achieved.
This post would suit either a newly qualified or more experienced teacher.

The Vale Primary Academy caters for just over 250 boys and girls between the ages of three and 11. The school is situated on the boundary of Knottingley and Ferrybridge, three miles from Pontefract and four miles from Castleford.
